Holiday Pet Care

As the holidays get closer, travel plans tend to fill up fast, and so do sitters' calendars. We recommend requesting your dates as early as you can, so there is time to match your pet with a verified sitter before you go.
Request your dates early
Holiday dates book up first. Requesting early gives PetFena more time to offer your stay to the nearest available verified sitter, and you see the full price, including any holiday amount, before you pay.
Share clear care notes
Write down what makes your pet's day work: feeding times and amounts, medications and doses, walks and play, favorite spots, and anything that worries them. Add your vet's name and phone number. Put it all in your pet's care notes in the app, and send your sitter a message there if something changes before drop-off.
Keep the routine steady
Pack your pet's usual food, medications, and a familiar blanket or toy. Keep feeding and walk times as close to normal as you can. Pets settle more easily when the day looks the way it always does.
Plan the hand-off
At drop-off you and your sitter meet in person and scan the sitter's QR code in the app, which records the start of the stay. The same scan at pick-up records the end. Agree on times in the app chat, and leave room for travel delays.
A little planning now means a calmer holiday for you and your pet.
