We verify every stay
Every sitter completes a background check and address validation before joining, and submits at least 3 proof images of their home and pet space, which you can view on their profile.

PetFena requires full disclosure of health and behavioral information at booking. This helps sitters prepare properly. Policies prohibit aggressive animals and communicable diseases, so your pet is never placed in an unsafe situation.
Sitters must provide proof of lease or landlord approval, or home ownership documentation. This confirms they're allowed to host pets, and every sitter submits at least 3 photos of their hosting space, shown on their public profile.
All communication flows through PetFena's in-app chat, so there's a clear record of what was agreed. We act as the intermediary to help resolve issues, though we're not liable for outcomes between you and the sitter.
Yes -- you can message your sitter anytime through the in-app chat for photo updates, and check-in and check-out are each confirmed with a timestamped photo so you know exactly when your pet arrived and was picked up. (Pets can't wear cameras, GPS trackers, or other high-value accessories during a stay, per our terms.)
